Violin

The only difference between violins and fiddles is the music you play on it. Violins are used in rock and classical music and fiddles are for country or folk styles. Whatever you call it, you will find a selection of models and colours—in sizes to fit everyone—on display. Many are packaged in a kit, which includes the instrument, a bow, some rosin for the bow, and even a padded case with carry straps. It’s everything you’ll need to get started, for a surprisingly low price. If you’re moving up from a starter instrument, check out our intermediate Gewa or Alegria models. We have intermediate bows with do-it-yourself replaceable bow hair. We also carry carbon-fibre bows for discerning players.

Banjo

We stock banjos of the six string variety that sound like a banjo but play just like a guitar. We also carry the more familiar five string type used in bluegrass music.

Harmonica

We stock a wide selection of harmonicas, also called harps. We have Big River and Marine Band by Hohner, and Delta Blues, in all the popular keys. Check out the specially-priced complete seven-piece set of harmonicas by Piedmont Blues.
